Goldener Resorts, headquartered in Seattle, has entered into a partnership with Doe Bay Resort on Orcas Island, in Washington State's San Juan islands to provide additional marketing and reservations for the property.
With over a century of welcoming visitors to the island, Doe Bay offers private vacation cabins and homes as well as yurt, camping and an onsite store and restaurant. The resort sits on the South East corner of Orcas on a pristine and private bay where it can offer kayak classes and rentals and other water activities.
Joe Brotherton, current owner of the resort said, "Doe Bay is already successful but we are always looking for other ways to introduce new visitors to our unique brand of hospitality. Goldener can bring new folks our way."
Goldener has made a unique place in Northwest lodging by working with out of the way inns, resorts & hotels. "Sometimes we provide full service onsite management and sometimes we assist property owners with marketing, advertising and reservations," said Penny Taylor, Vice President of Goldener.
"The Doe Bay team have created an unusual guest experience; one that visitors will love."
Goldener is a network of properties around the northwest that cooperate to offer existing customers an opportunity to visit little known destinations they might not find any other way. It operates numerous websites and often builds online awareness for every cabin or home at its partner properties.
"We have 150,000 past guests and love to bring them something new and stimulating for their getaways," said Taylor. "Our phone and online guides love telling folks about Doe Bay."
The www.Goldener.com website allows guests to book online, read about events and activities at each destination and to know about news, newsletters and blogs. Guests can telephone 866-925-7084 toll free for reservations 8am to 8pm everyday of the year.
